Who I am plays a huge role in how I document others. I live life curiously and honestly. My people (my husband, my family, my friends-turned-family) are of the utmost importance to me. I love to travel, but my home state of Michigan is my favorite place I’ve ever been. I love to dance in a dive bar with my best friend to whatever throwback the DJ is playing that night. I love a good cry while watching a movie, or even just in general. I am inherently emotional, fun, and dorky.
And I tell you all of this because who I am translates directly into my work with you.
I strive to experience life in a way that is honest and raw, and I aim to document your story in the same way. My dorkiness, fixations on pop culture, and constant readiness to dance bring a sense of whimsy and freedom to how I move and would encourage you to move during our time together.
I believe that the combo of who I am and who you are makes my work what it is: honest, warm, and free.
